Guidelines for Session Chairs
Session Management: Ensure the session starts and ends on time. Introduce each speaker briefly before their presentation.
Timekeeping: You will have a traffic light visual timer to manage the presentation times. Please turn it on at the start of each presentation. The timer will alert speakers at 2 minutes, 1 minute, and at the end of their presentation. Politely remind speakers if they are running over time.
Facilitating Q&A: Moderate the question and answer session, ensuring it stays within the allocated 3 minutes. Encourage audience participation and manage the flow of questions.
Technical Assistance: Technical assistants will be available to help. If needed, please ask them for support to ensure all equipment is functioning properly before the session begins.
